Early or partial results. Treat as a signal, not a conclusion.
This registry record describes a planned 12-week pilot trial of Integrated Suicide and Trauma Therapy (ISTT), a novel single-arm intervention combining suicide coping skills with trauma-focused therapy, in 20 participants with childhood trauma history and current suicidality. No results are reported; the study is still recruiting and designed to assess feasibility and acceptability, not efficacy. The evidence base is therefore absent at this stage.

Safety was not reported in the material analysed. Check the source before drawing any conclusion about harm.
This record provides no clinical evidence yet. Clinicians should await publication of results before considering ISTT for practice. The study design (pilot, single-arm, small sample) means that even upon completion, results will support only feasibility assessment and hypothesis generation, not clinical decision-making.
This is a pilot feasibility study with small planned enrollment (n=20), no comparator arm, and no results yet reported; it aims to generate preliminary evidence on a novel combined intervention.

Graded across the dimensions that decide whether you should act, each from what the source actually supports. There is no single score, and where a dimension was not assessed it says so.
What is missing. This record has no key findings. That is a gap in the analysis, not a judgement about the study.
Registry record from ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT05613972). This is a study registration, not published results. Lead sponsor: Unity Health Toronto. Recruitment status: RECRUITING. Phase: NA. Study type: INTERVENTIONAL. Enrollment: 20 participants (ESTIMATED). Conditions: Suicide, Trauma, Major Depressive Disorder. Interventions: OTHER: Integrated Suicide and Trauma Therapy. Primary outcome measures: Change in Beck Scale for Suicide Ideation (BSS) score , From baseline to 1 week post-therapy; Feasibility and acceptability of ISTT , From baseline to 1 week post-therapy. Brief summary: The investigators have developed a novel suicide intervention, Integrated Suicide and Trauma Therapy (ISTT). ISTT combines Brief-Skills for Safer Living (Brief-SfSL)-a promising method to enhance coping skills and reduce suicidality-with a trauma therapy component to alleviate the specific impacts of childhood trauma on suicide risk. The aim of this pilot is to test 12-weeks of ISTT to alleviate suicide risk among individuals with a history of childhood trauma and current suicidality.
