Tai Chi / Health Education / Hormone Receptor Positive Breast Carcinoma · Interventional Study
ClinicalTrials.gov · August 14, 2026
Early or partial results. Treat as a signal, not a conclusion.
This is a registered pilot randomized controlled trial comparing Tai Chi to health education for aromatase inhibitor-induced arthralgia in postmenopausal women with hormone receptor-positive breast cancer. No outcomes have been reported in this registry record; the study is currently recruiting and will measure feasibility (consent, engagement, and retention rates) rather than clinical efficacy.
Interventional, Randomized, Parallel, Open label, Supportive Care purpose. Hormone Receptor Positive Breast Carcinoma, Postmenopausal, Breast Cancer; Female; age from 18 Years. Intervention: TaiChi4Joint. Compared with: Health Education Attention Control — Active Comparator. n = 40. 1 site: United States.

Safety was not reported in the material analysed. Check the source before drawing any conclusion about harm.
This is a feasibility pilot; no clinical efficacy data are yet available. Results from this study may inform design of a larger efficacy trial if the intervention is acceptable and engagement adequate.
This is a study registration for a planned pilot RCT with no results yet reported; it describes feasibility and acceptability endpoints only, not clinical efficacy.

Graded across the dimensions that decide whether you should act, each from what the source actually supports. There is no single score, and where a dimension was not assessed it says so.
What is missing. This record has no key findings. That is a gap in the analysis, not a judgement about the study.
Registry record from ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT07737951). This is a study registration, not published results. Lead sponsor: Thomas Jefferson University. Recruitment status: RECRUITING. Phase: NA. Study type: INTERVENTIONAL. Enrollment: 40 participants (ESTIMATED). Conditions: Hormone Receptor Positive Breast Carcinoma, Postmenopausal, Breast Cancer. Interventions: BEHAVIORAL: Tai Chi; BEHAVIORAL: Health Education. Primary outcome measures: Consent Rate , Up to 6 months; Engagement Rate , 12 weeks; Retention Rate , 20 weeks. Brief summary: The objective of the pilot RCT is to evaluate the feasibility and acceptability of a Tai Chi intervention "TaiChi4Joint" vs. an HE AC group for relieving AIIA in women with hormone receptor positive stage I-III BCa. The investigators will pilot test our data collection for mechanism measures via three innovatively integrated biobehavioral pathways.
