Asymmetrical blending of Tenebrio molitor and Hermetia illucens meals in broiler nutrition: a novel strategy.

A sound single-site randomized controlled trial with adequate sample size and multiple endpoints shows that an asymmetric blend of insect meals improves growth and carcass traits in broilers, but the result is limited to a specific formulation and intermediate inclusion rate (6% total), requires replication, and involves surrogate endpoints for practical feed economics.
