Graded across the dimensions that decide whether you should act, each from what the source actually supports. There is no single score, and where a dimension was not assessed it says so.
This record has not been graded across any dimension yet. Treat the label above as provisional and read the source.
What is missing. This record has no bottom line, key findings, reported figures, evidence dimensions. That is a gap in the analysis, not a judgement about the study.
Registry record from ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT07923643). This is a study registration, not published results. Lead sponsor: Assiut University. Recruitment status: NOT_YET_RECRUITING. Phase: NA. Study type: INTERVENTIONAL. Enrollment: 60 participants (ESTIMATED). Conditions: Breast Cancer, Postoperative Pain, Chronic Postoperative Pain, Quality of Recovery. Interventions: DRUG: Bupivacaine; DRUG: Dexamethasone; DRUG: Magnesium sulfate. Primary outcome measures: Quality of Recovery-15 score at 24 hours after surgery , 24 hours after surgery. Brief summary: This prospective, randomized, double-blind, controlled clinical trial will evaluate whether adding magnesium sulfate to dexamethasone-augmented ultrasound-guided pectoral nerve block improves postoperative recovery and analgesia in female patients undergoing elective modified radical mastectomy under general anesthesia. Fifty-four participants will be allocated to two groups. Both groups will receive bupivacaine and dexamethasone for PECS block; the intervention group will additionally receive magnesium sulfate. The primary outcome will be the Quality of Recovery-15 (QoR-15) score at 24 hours after surgery. Secondary outcomes will include postoperative pain scores, opioid consumption, time to first rescue analgesia, postoperative nausea and vomiting, patient satisfaction, block-related complications, intraoperative fentanyl requirements, hemodynamic parameters, and chronic post-mastectomy pain assessed through six months.
