Primary outcome measures: Evaluation of Change in Percent of Tumor-Infiltrating Lymphocytes (TIL) , 6 to 8 days after preoperative radiotherapy. Brief summary: This phase II trial studies how well radiation therapy before surgery works in treating patients with hormone receptor positive, HER2 negative breast cancer. Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. Giving radiation therapy before surgery may make the tumor smaller and reduce the amount of normal tissue that needs to be removed.
