The source did not state who this applies to in practice.
Graded across the dimensions that decide whether you should act, each from what the source actually supports. There is no single score, and where a dimension was not assessed it says so.
This record has not been graded across any dimension yet. Treat the label above as provisional and read the source.
What is missing. This record has no bottom line, key findings, reported figures, evidence dimensions. That is a gap in the analysis, not a judgement about the study.
Registry record from ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT07906561). This is a study registration, not published results. Lead sponsor: Inonu University. Recruitment status: NOT_YET_RECRUITING. Study type: OBSERVATIONAL. Enrollment: 150 participants (ESTIMATED). Conditions: Sepsis, Septic Shock. Interventions: DIAGNOSTIC_TEST: Serum GDF-15 and LGALS3BP Measurement. Primary outcome measures: Serum GDF-15 Concentration , Within 24 hours of ICU admission and at 72 hours; Serum LGALS3BP Concentration , Within 24 hours of ICU admission and at 72 hours; 28-Day All-Cause Mortality , 28 days after ICU admission; Change in SOFA Score , From ICU admission to 72 hours. Brief summary: The purpose of this study is to find out whether blood levels of two proteins, GDF-15 and LGALS3BP, measured at intensive care unit admission and at 72 hours, can help predict survival and organ dysfunction in adult patients with sepsis or septic shock. Blood samples are collected together with routine laboratory tests, without additional needle sticks. The study does not change patient treatment.
