No findings were extractable from the material analysed.
Safety was not reported in the material analysed. Check the source before drawing any conclusion about harm.
The source did not state who this applies to in practice.
Graded across the dimensions that decide whether you should act, each from what the source actually supports. There is no single score, and where a dimension was not assessed it says so.
This record has not been graded across any dimension yet. Treat the label above as provisional and read the source.
What is missing. This record has no bottom line, key findings, reported figures, evidence dimensions. That is a gap in the analysis, not a judgement about the study.
Remarkable advances in cancer therapeutics have transformed many malignancies into chronic, manageable diseases, creating an unprecedented population of long-term cancer survivors. However, these gains have been accompanied by a growing burden of cardiovascular disease resulting from both cancer therapies and shared biological mechanisms between cancer and cardiovascular disease. Cardio-oncology has emerged to address this challenge by integrating cardiovascular prevention, surveillance, diagnosis, and treatment throughout the range of cancer care. What began as a consultative niche focused largely on anthracycline-induced cardiomyopathy has rapidly evolved into a multidisciplinary specialty supported by international guidelines, dedicated clinical programs, structured surveillance strategies, specialized training initiatives, and expanding research networks. This perspective argues that cardio-oncology has crossed the threshold from an emerging field to an established medical discipline. We discuss the milestones that define its maturation, the challenges that remain, and the priorities required to ensure equitable implementation worldwide.
