What is missing. This record has no bottom line, key findings, reported figures, evidence dimensions. That is a gap in the analysis, not a judgement about the study.
Background: Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is a metabolic disorder characterized by elevated blood glucose levels due to insulin resistance, which is frequently associated with central obesity and measurable via the Waist-to-Hio Ratio (WHR). Objective: To determine the relationship between WHR and blood glucose levels among T2DM patients at the Tasikmadu Public Health Center. Methods: This study employed a quantitative cross-sectional design involving sampling. Data analysis utilized the Spearman Rank correlation test, as the data were not normally distributed based on the Shapiro-Wilk normality test. Results: Respondents were predominantly aged 45-54 years (56.1%) and female (80.5%) Bivariate analysis revealed a p-value of 0.507 (p > 0.05) with correlation coefficient of rs =n -0.102. Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between the Waist-to-Hip Ratio (WHR) and blood glucose levels in T2DM patients at the Tasikmadu Public Health Center. Blood glucose management is influenced by other factors such as adherence to therapy, dietary, habits, and physical activity.
