Phase 3 Trial.
No findings were extractable from the material analysed.
Safety was not reported in the material analysed. Check the source before drawing any conclusion about harm.
The source did not state who this applies to in practice.
Graded across the dimensions that decide whether you should act, each from what the source actually supports. There is no single score, and where a dimension was not assessed it says so.
This record has not been graded across any dimension yet. Treat the label above as provisional and read the source.
What is missing. This record has no bottom line, key findings, reported figures, evidence dimensions. That is a gap in the analysis, not a judgement about the study.
Registry record from ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT07854782). This is a study registration, not published results. Lead sponsor: Regeneron Pharmaceuticals. Recruitment status: RECRUITING. Phase: PHASE3. Study type: INTERVENTIONAL. Enrollment: 1500 participants (ESTIMATED). Conditions: Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease, MASLD. Interventions: DRUG: ALN-CIDEB; DRUG: Placebo. Primary outcome measures: Occurrence of Treatment Emergent Adverse Events (TEAEs) , Through Week 64; Severity of TEAEs , Through Week 64. Brief summary: This study will test a Regeneron study drug called ALN-CIDEB to find out whether it may help treat a liver disease called metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH). MASH is more advanced stage of a broader liver disease, MASLD. MASLD is a liver condition caused by too much fat building up in the liver. This can lead to liver scarring and inflammation and can reduce the liver's ability to keep the body healthy. Cell death-inducing DFFA-like effector B (CIDEB) is a protein made by liver cells that helps the liver to store fat. The study is looking at: * What side effects ALN-CIDEB might cause * How well ALN-CIDEB works to change liver fat, liver injury, and liver scarring * How ALN-CIDEB could affect the body and the liver, which can help researchers understand why ALN-CIDEB works better for some people than others
