Phase 2/3 Trial.
No findings were extractable from the material analysed.
Safety was not reported in the material analysed. Check the source before drawing any conclusion about harm.
The source did not state who this applies to in practice.
Graded across the dimensions that decide whether you should act, each from what the source actually supports. There is no single score, and where a dimension was not assessed it says so.
This record has not been graded across any dimension yet. Treat the label above as provisional and read the source.
What is missing. This record has no bottom line, key findings, reported figures, evidence dimensions. That is a gap in the analysis, not a judgement about the study.
Registry record from ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT07888075). This is a study registration, not published results. Lead sponsor: AVEO Pharmaceuticals, Inc.. Recruitment status: NOT_YET_RECRUITING. Phase: PHASE2, PHASE3. Study type: INTERVENTIONAL. Enrollment: 950 participants (ESTIMATED). Conditions: Cachexia; Cancer, Cachexia, Cachexia-Anorexia Syndrome, Metastatic Colorectal Cancer (CRC), Metastatic Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC), Weight Loss, Anorexia. Interventions: BIOLOGICAL: Rilogrotug; BIOLOGICAL: Placebo. Primary outcome measures: Phase 2 (A): To evaluate the effect of rilogrotug compared to placebo on weight gain , 12 weeks; Phase 2 (A): Change from baseline in Functional Assessment of Anorexia/Cachexia Therapy- 5-Item Anorexia Symptom Scale score , 12 weeks; Phase 3 (B): To evaluate the effect of rilogrotug compared to placebo on weight gain , 12 weeks; Phase 3 (B): Change from baseline in Functional Assessment of Anorexia/Cachexia Therapy- 5-Item Anorexia Symptom Scale score , 12 weeks; Phase 3 (C): To evaluate the effect of rilogrotug compared to placebo on weight gain , 12 weeks; Phase 3 (C): Change from baseline in Functional Assessment of Anorexia/Cachexia Therapy- 5-Item Anorexia Symptom Scale score , 12 weeks; OLE (D): To evaluate the safety and tolerability of long-term rilogrotug administration , 52 weeks. Brief summary: The purpose of this trial is to learn whether participants who take rilogrotug gain weight, have a better appetite, and have a better quality of life than participants who do not take rilogrotug (placebo arm). Adult participants with cachexia who have also been diagnosed with metastatic colorectal or non-small cell lung cancer will be enrolled. The primary hypothesis is that after 12 weeks, rilogrotug will cause an increase from baseline in body weight and appetite (as measured by the Functional Assessment of Anorexia/Cachexia Therapy 5-item Anorexia Symptom Scale \[FAACT-5IASS\] questionnaire) compared to placebo.
