Graded across the dimensions that decide whether you should act, each from what the source actually supports. There is no single score, and where a dimension was not assessed it says so.
This record has not been graded across any dimension yet. Treat the label above as provisional and read the source.
What is missing. This record has no bottom line, key findings, reported figures, evidence dimensions. That is a gap in the analysis, not a judgement about the study.
Registry record from ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT07818057). This is a study registration, not published results. Lead sponsor: Chinese PLA General Hospital. Recruitment status: COMPLETED. Study type: OBSERVATIONAL. Enrollment: 10536 participants (ACTUAL). Conditions: Depressive Disorder. Interventions: OTHER: Retrospective data analysis. Primary outcome measures: 1-year all-cause mortality after surgery , 12 months after surgery. Brief summary: This is a retrospective observational study based on our hospital's prospective peri-operative elderly patient database. We aim to evaluate the correlation between the 9-item Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9) and the brief 3-item Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-3) for screening depressive symptoms among elderly surgical patients. Secondary outcomes include the associations of the two scales with adverse events: 30-day post-operative mortality, readmission, surgical site infection, delirium, and 1-year all-cause mortality. No additional interventions will be performed; only existing routinely-collected clinical data will be analysed.
