What is missing. This record has no bottom line, key findings, reported figures, evidence dimensions. That is a gap in the analysis, not a judgement about the study.
Registry record from ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT07839585). This is a study registration, not published results. Lead sponsor: Merck Sharp & Dohme LLC. Recruitment status: NOT_YET_RECRUITING. Phase: PHASE3. Study type: INTERVENTIONAL. Enrollment: 352 participants (ESTIMATED). Conditions: Pulmonary Hypertension. Interventions: BIOLOGICAL: Sotatercept; BIOLOGICAL: Placebo. Primary outcome measures: Time to Clinical Worsening (TTCW) , Up to ~37 weeks. Brief summary: Researchers are looking for other ways to treat people with combined postcapillary and precapillary pulmonary hypertension (CpcPH). This trial focuses on CpcPH that is related to heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). The goal of the study is to learn if participants who receive sotatercept live longer without their CpcPH-HFpEF getting worse than those who receive placebo.
