Journal article.
No findings were extractable from the material analysed.
Safety was not reported in the material analysed. Check the source before drawing any conclusion about harm.
The source did not state who this applies to in practice.
Graded across the dimensions that decide whether you should act, each from what the source actually supports. There is no single score, and where a dimension was not assessed it says so.
This record has not been graded across any dimension yet. Treat the label above as provisional and read the source.
What is missing. This record has no bottom line, key findings, reported figures, evidence dimensions. That is a gap in the analysis, not a judgement about the study.
Objective: Colorectal cancer is the 3rd most widespread kind of cancer diagnosed universal in humans. Chemotherapies are most widely prescribed for treating CRC. Typically, all the chemotherapeutic agents are highly potent, produce many side effects and also has many physicochemical properties related limitations. To overcome this limitation and to improve the efficacy suitable formulation development is the need of the hour. Methods: Chitosan nanoparticles were prepared by ionic gelation method and characterized. The particle dimension, ZP, PDI and shape was described. The preparation was additionally covered with acid soluble as well as enteric coating polymer. Stability study was performing to make sure the formulation physicochemical properties consistency. In-vitro release kinetics and drug release was done. Results: The prepare HA-CH-CC-NPs was in nano meter size range (208 nm) with suitable zetapotential value (-28.5 mV). The morphological data of SEM shown that particles are individual and dispersed. AFM exposed that the particles are been with flat exterior and height of 78 nm. The pure drug Capecitabine was shown around 15 % at 5th min and around 85 % at the end of 60 min. Same while Drug release of Capecitabine from HA-CH-CC-NPs at pH 7has started its drug release of 30 % at time of 5th min, and at the conclusion of 60th min drug delivery of Capecitabine was found to be the maximum of its 100 %. Conclusion: The HA-CH-CC-NPs shown better drug release behavior than the Capecitabine pure drug. The release kinetics studies suggest that the formulation follows the Korsmeyer-peppaskinetic model. Further in-vitro investigation with colorectal cancer cell would be carried out to understand the specific targeting of cancer cells to ensure good therapeutic action with reduced toxicity.
